MCS Automation Engineers - Background MCS Automation Engineers was founded in 1981 as the result of a demand from small and medium size businesses for help in automating their companies with personal computer systems and networks. MCS has been working very closely with business owners and managers, becoming part of their team to create automated processes customized to the clients' specifications. Objectives such as increased efficiency, more accurate tracking, and increased production with the same personnel are the core of our work. In 1987 responding to client demand, the graphics arts support division was formed. MCS has served its clients with computer consulting and programming services since 1981 and began installing and servicing computer equipment in 1982. Our first personal computer network was installed in 1982. Since then we have installed, written software for, managed, and have been network administrators for over 60 personal computer systems and networks ranging in size from two to over 50 users. Our integration services arose from the connectivity issues associated with networking. Some of the systems we have successfully integrated are: DEC VAX/VMS; Barco; Novell Netware; Interactive and SCO Unix, Windows NT-2000-XP, several versions of Linux, and MacIntosh Ethertalk services. MCS currently maintains an active business relationship with several professional associates. Our associates have many years of experience in the personal computer services area with both IBM (tm) compatible and Apple MacIntosh systems. Our offices are located at 1000 W.
